The Perfect Location!
So I figured our first official post should be about the most important wedding decision we have made so far, the location! As we have already learned, pretty much about everyone we know went to Walden West as a kid for science camp, well everyone except Matthew and I, go figure!
We were lucky enough to hear through some clients of mine that they were beginning to host weddings here, so we made an appointment and fell in love! Beautiful nature for the ceremony (fingers crossed for suitable weather of course!), several back up plans in case the weather isn't ideal, a gorgeous lodge for the reception, and an amazing staff that isn't jaded by the wedding business yet who are just as excited about our wedding as we are. However, we would have to say that the best part of this location is that the proceeds go towards sending kids to science camp which meant a lot to us!
Unfortunately, the photos we have taken on our visits there haven't been so great but I will try to get some better ones to post. There aren't many good ones on their website, but it's worth checking out.
Speaking of photos, that will have to be our next post!!
